Upper Liffey Falls

I had the best day out walking in a beautiful part of Tasmania today. The thing I love about our Tassie wilderness is you can often explore places and be the only ones there really absorbing the serenity. My daughter, Zali, and I explored Upper Liffey Falls and it didn’t disappoint.  When we arrived at the top Liffey falls car park we struggled to find a park showing that there were a fair few people exploring Liffey Falls. Little fun fact, there is no signage for Upper Liffey Falls so it is nowhere near as busy as our well known Liffey Falls. To find this waterfall you proceed to the big tree which is past the toilet block less than 100m. We stopped for a photo and then simply continued up the track.  The track climbed up a steady hill under a dense, lush forest, full of ferns and a green colourful canopy.
