Picture Perfect Parsons Falls

I finally made it!! Picture perfect Parsons Falls, what a destination! The blue, green tones reflected in the water was mesmerising, surrounded by the hard, vertical rock face acting as the perfect picture frame.

My daughter came with me on this adventure today. The weather was perfect, with the sun beaming down making the journey pleasant. We followed the road for 2kms until we reached the turn off where we followed the direction of the water pipes which lead the way. Down some steep stairs we reached Fisher River and began to climb over rocks heading towards the top of Parsons Falls.

The next part of the walk was the challenge as we took up the steep terrain in search for the base. This part of the track had a few pink ribbons but we took the wrong path and had to back track. We slowly made our way down the vertical terrain grabbing tree trunks to stabilise. We made it to the base and took in the amazing view.

After taking in the peaceful surroundings my daughter was super keen to get in the fresh, cool water. She gathered enough courage and then dived in to the freezing cold water. It took her breath away and she quickly swam to the edge.

We spent a fair bit of time at Parsons Falls falling in love with this picture perfect destination. My daughter can’t wait to come back with her friends. We took a couple pictures together and then headed back up the steep terrain.

An amazing day spent with my gorgeous daughter. Living and loving life in Tasmania.
