Hawley Beach Coastal Walk

The Carbuncle walking track also known as the Larooma Trail found at Hawley Beach, Port Sorell is a gorgeous easy coastline walk. It passes along a few beaches as you head out to the rocky point called Point Sorell. My partner and I walked it on a sunny day with a flat calm ocean lapping up on the sandy beach.

Across the Bass Strait you could see a low cloud covering Narawntapu National Park. We walked past Eddies Point as far as the track went until we got to a rocky coastline. We spent a bit of time exploring this area.

You could see the Carbuncle Island from the point which was covered in bird life. It was full of birds covering most of the island. You could continue on walking along the rocks to take you to Point Sorell, however we decided to head back.

On the walk back we stopped in at a couple of the beaches. The rocks were coloured orange and were very geometric. The sun was reflecting off the ocean like a disco ball.

This walk is a nice easy walk to get out and about and enjoy nature. We covered about four to five kilometres observing a beautiful location.
